Our Mission: We are all about uniting humans by harnessing creativity and laughter through improv training, live unscripted comedy, and educational programs for people of all ages in Wichita and beyond.
Our​​ educational programs allow locals in Wichita Kansas to try improv, practice improv, and perform improv in front of a live audience who also play a part of the performance as their suggestions inspire the show. UCA is designed to allow any person at any level to join in and eventually become experienced enough to lead and encourage novices into the fold. Through learning the tools and rules of improvisation, students not only connect with their internal genius but are encouraged to build something bigger than self on stage, in the moment, never to be created the exact same ever again. Or something like that.

Learning and performing improv encourages the meek, it humbles the loud, and it inspires the audience by witnessing made up on- the-spot entertainment. The lessons of improv unfold over time as the pupil discovers what about them is unique on stage. Improv thrives on diversity, give and take, and tuning the ear to listen in a way it never has before. The moves that actors make during an improv show are never rehearsed, planned, or self-serving. This art form is ideal for children to play and create as they normally do, but in a new structure. For adults, it forces them to unpack the tool of imagination and play once again.
